The Guyana Tourism Authority wanted to add value to its relationship with Caribbean Airlines, make more consumers aware that CA flies to Guyana, and grow the GTA database.
We developed a multi-partner, co-branded sweepstakes campaign, Guyana In Living Color. In addition to the GTA and Caribbean Airlines, we recruited and secured several consumer brands to serve as partners: AFAR (travel media), Osprey Bags, Leatherman (multi-purpose tools), as well as Wilderness Explorers who provided the trip. Note: we do not ask partners for money, only to promote the sweepstakes on their communication channels, allowing us to reach new audiences.
In 30 days, the Guyana In Living Color sweepstakes generated:
• 18,260,584 impressions
• 44,758 website page views
• 18,100 new emails for the GTA and all partners
